In class, we have discussed the different types of resources in the world around us.  We then discussed the different types of resources used by the American Indian tribes we have been talking about in class.  The types of resources we discussed are:

Natural: Come directly from nature

Human: People (or humans!) working to produce goods & services

Capital: Good produced and used to make other goods & services

Also, today in class we discussed Cactus Hill, one of the oldest archaeological sites in North America.  Evidence was found that humans lived there as long as 18,000 years ago!  In class, students will work on illustrating Cactus Hill and the dig site there.

U.S. History Pre-Test
